Peterking Quaye is a Policy Researcher & Advocacy Specialist He is Founder & Executive Director of West Africa ICT Action Network, an ICT based sub-regional Non-for-profit organization working on internet governance, cyber and digital capacity development , AI ,digital inclusion and digital rights advocacy to promote better public policy leading to better internet freedom, digital and information rights in West Africa , where he works at the intersection of technology and human rights, leading strategic sub-regional and national advocacy engagements, research, and capacity building programs. He holds a Diploma in Business Studies from Institute of Professional Studies- Ghana (Now University of Professional Studies) , BSc. Marketing from the University of Professional Studies , Ghana and An Executive MBA in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the AME University Graduate School , Liberia . His research thesis focused on the use of His working experience spans from the Africa Union Commission ( AUC ) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as an Information Association , Communication Officer at the Situation Room and public sector in Liberia at the Ministry of Gender Children and Social Protection . A member of the Swiss Cyber Institute ,a community of cyber expert. Also a member trainee of the the AU-PRIDA Internet Governance Track for Liberia. Currently the National Convener for the Republic of Liberia , Internet Governance Forum . A researcher at the intersection of digital technology and human right . He is an alumnus of the African School on Internet Governance, He is currently exploring the existing uses of technology, its interaction with users and impact on society to understand, shape and influence policy that will enable an effective and most importantly, safe use of the internet and technology at large.
